London - Arabstoday

Juan Arango believes his Borussia Monchengladbach team-mates should continue to dream of claiming the Bundesliga title this season. Monchengladbach have been the surprise package in Germany, starting out as one of the candidates for relegation having only survived the drop via the play-offs last year. But coach Lucien Favre has inspired a remarkable run of form which sees them sit third, just five points behind leaders and defending champions Borussia Dortmund. Venezuelan Arango is relishing their role of underdog but believes they can maintain their challenge against the likes of Dortmund and Bayern Munich. "Anybody can beat anybody in Germany," he told the DPA news agency. "Dreaming is also allowed, there is nothing wrong with that. Not many expected that in truth. Last season, we were fighting [for survival] until the very last game, and now we are third." Gladbach are not in action until Sunday this weekend when they travel to Nurnberg. Bayern and Dortmund are both in action on Saturday with the Bavarians facing a tricky trip to fifth-placed Bayer Leverkusen and Dortmund hosting Mainz. Schalke could move ahead of Monchengladbach with a win in Freiburg on Saturday, perhaps still making the title fight a four-team race. Pressure on for Hertha, Cologne Behind the top four, Werder Bremen and Leverkusen are occupying the two berths which would ensure UEFA Europa League qualification, but Hannover are closing in behind them. The Reds, who have just reached the last 16 of the Europa League this season, host a resurgent Augsburg on Saturday before facing Standard Liege in Europe next Thursday. Behind Hannover, a group of clubs are all looking to enhance their European credentials. That group is currently being led by Stuttgart, who travel to Hamburg, while even 13th-placed Wolfsburg, who visit Kaiserslautern, are still in with an outside chance of catching the top six. At the bottom of the table, Hertha Berlin will be looking to end a six-game losing streak when they host Werder Bremen, while Cologne travel to Hoffenheim on Sunday with coach Stale Solbakken's job hanging in the balance.
