At least 12 Daesh terrorists were killed and 21 injured on Monday, when their explosive device exploded while transporting it in the eastern Afghan province of Nangarhar, , Afghanistan’s Khaama Press news outlet cited spokesman for the Afghan army Sherin Aqa as saying.
It added that no civilian causalities were reported as a result of the explosion.
Earlier in March, the Nangarhar authorities said that some 300 terrorists had been killed or wounded during a three-week counter-terrorism operation to curb the group's insurgency to take control of the province.
