A 35-year-old Palestinian farmer was injured today by Israeli occupation forces gunfire in eastern Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Ashraf Al-Qudra said the farmer was shot in the back, pointing out that his health condition is serious.
Israel continued attacks on the Gaza Strip during the past few days in which dozens of Palestinians were wounded. The Palestinian resistance retaliated with dozens of rockets and mortar shells on adjacent settlements.
In the west bank governorate of Hebron three young men were injured by rubber bullets on Friday evening in violent clashes with Israeli soldiers who broke into the town of Surif near an Israeli settlement west of Hebron.
Local sources said the clashes took place after the town's residents protested against the establishment of a settlement on the town's territory, pointing out that Israeli soldiers fired rubber bullets, gas canisters and stun bombs at the young Palestinians.
The young patients were transferred by Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances to hospitals in the city of Hebron.
In Al-Fawar refugee camp, south of Hebron, violent clashes erupted with Israeli soldiers at the entrance of the camp. Local sources said that the camp's youths hurled stones at Israeli forces, in protest against the attacks of Israeli soldiers on citizens in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Israeli occupation forces fired gas canisters and stun bombs at the young men, wounding many of them and causing others to suffocate.
