Sleiman sees patriarch's stances advantageous to Lebanon

Lebanese President, Michel Sleiman, on Thursday said from Diman that the stances of Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi are advantageous to Lebanon, and that he (Rahi) does not need anyone to defend him. He said the Patriarch successfully relayed to the French authorities the fears of Christians in the Middle East over sectarian divisions, Israeli jeopardy, and Palestinians' naturalization. Sleiman arrived earlier today in Diman for a meeting with Patriarch Rahi.
