Head of Beirut and Mount Lebanon Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture Chamber, Mohammad Shoucair, convened on Monday with the Uruguayan Ambassador to Lebanon, Luis Jorge Jure, over the means to boost economic bilateral ties and the preparations for the impending visit of a delegation of Uruguayan businessmen to Beirut Chamber next month. Speaking to journalists' following the meeting, Shoucair said the businessmen visit to Lebanon is hoped to pave the way for opening new markets for Lebanon's exportations and creating work partnerships in various fields. For his part, the Ambassador extolled the Chamber's efforts to develop relations between Lebanon and Uruguay, highlighting his country's readiness "to take necessary measures aimed at pushing forward bilateral ties."
