Petraeus holds talks with Turkish FM

New director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), David Petraeus held discussions here today with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutouglu. Talks discussed joint security issues besides military and strategic cooperation between the United States and Turkey. The two sides also reviewed the US policy in the Middle-East and Balkan as well as the latest developments in Afghanistan and Northern Iraq. Petreaus arrived on Monday in Ankara after handing over command of US and NATO-led troops to Marine Gen. John Allen .
