Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Moscow, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati, received a letter of thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, from the Chairman of the Russian Mufties Council, Shaikh Ravil Gaynutdin, for His Majesty's patronage of the International Competition for the Holy Quran, which was held in Moscow early last month and was named after His Majesty the King.
This came during a meeting between Al-Saati and the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Mufties Council, Hidrat Roshan Abbasov.
The Council expressed appreciation of His Majesty the King for his support to Muslims affairs and projects in Russia, the last of which was the patronage of the International Quran Competition attended by 32 countries from around the world.
The Council offered its sincere wishes to His Majesty the King of abundant health and success to serve the Islamic nation and to lead Bahrain towards further progress and prosperity.
