Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah E-Government Department, today attended an aerial display performed by Fursan Al Emarat, the UAE Air Force's aerobatic display team, at the Fujairah Corniche, as part of the 46th National Day celebrations.
The display, which was watched by several Sheikhs, senior officials and hundreds of spectators, painted the skies of Fujairah with the colours of the UAE flag, using various jet aircraft, including the Mirage 2000 and F16 fighters.
Earlier in the day, a sea parade was organised to celebrate the anniversary of the 46th National Day, which featured traditional dhows and fishing boats and a diving show. The Fujairah Corniche also hosted a horse show, a display of vintage classic cars and other heritage events.
