Clashes in Bourin after Settlers Set Fire to Its Land

Clashes between Palestinians and settlers erupted, Thursday in the village of Bourin, South of Nablus, after the settlers set fire to Palestinian lands in the village, according to witnesses. The arsons led to the burning of trees and agricultural land, said witnesses. They said that the clashes broke out between villagers and settlers after the settlers set fire to the village’s lands, and prevented the Palestinians from putting out the fires. Witnesses added that 'the Israeli soldiers arrested two settlers for setting fire to lands, and preventing the villagers from putting it out.' They said that 'confrontations took place between Israeli soldiers and settlers after arresting some of them.'
