Kabul - Arabstoday

A bomb blast and militant attacks have killed two foreign soldiers with the US-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in southern Afghanistan. A Wednesday militant attack against US-led troops killed one of the soldiers while a Tuesday bomb blast killed another south of the war-torn country, said an ISAF statement, quoted by the Associate Press. The statement did not reveal the nationalities of the soldiers or the exact location of the deaths. At least 301 US-led soldiers, most of them Americans, have died in Afghanistan so far this year. As the US-led force casualties persistently climb in Afghanistan, public opinion in the United States and other Western countries is increasingly turning against the Afghan war. The security situation has steadily worsened across Afghanistan over the past few years despite the presence of around 150,000 US-led foreign troops in the country.
