Dozens of workers sustained wounds and burns after a huge fire broke out at a warehouse of a refrigerator factory in the Menoufia Governorate, north of Cairo, last night. Some workers are believed to be trapped inside. Menoufia Governor Ashaf Al-Feki, who inspected the site, asked the armed forces to send helicopters in order to back up the firefighting and worker evacuation efforts. Fire fighters from the civil protection directorates of Quesna, Shebin Al-Kom and Berkat Al-Sab'e are still battling to prevent the spread of the fire to nearby plants.
