Rabat - Rashid Bougha

Sources in the Popular Movement in Morocco said that secretary general Oumhand is eying the all important ministry of interior, in Abdelali Benkirane’s new government. Prime minister Benkirane is facing growing tensions amongst his supporters as well as those who joined the coalition as he fails to come up with a fully organised government that is able to include all parties. Omhand’s nomination was described as a possible return to Driss Bassri’s years in office, when the notorious interior ministry insitilled fear amongst Moroccans. Benkirane is also looking to appoint a woman.
