The animated adventure Minions is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning a staggering $115.2 million at the box office this weekend, Rentrak announced Sunday.
The film's release ended the four-week run of chart-topper Jurassic World, which fell to second place this weekend with $18.1 million.
Coming in at No. 3 is Inside Out with $17.1 million, followed by Terminator: Genisys at No. 4 with $13.7 million and Gallows at No. 5 with $10 million.
Rounding out the top tier are Magic Mike XXL at No. 6 with $9.6 million, Ted 2 at No. 7 with $5.6 million, Self/Less at No. 8 with $5.4 million, Max at No. 9 with $3.4 million and Spy at No. 10 with $3 million.
