The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamama Palace, GCC Health Ministers, who are participating in the 78th Conference of GCC Health Ministers’ Council, held here on February 4-5, 2015.
The delegation is the first of its kind at the GCC level to be received by King Salman since his Accession to the Throne last month.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed the ministers, and wished them success in achieving the aspirations of GCC leaders for outstanding health services for GCC citizens.
The Saudi monarch affirmed interest in unity and complementarity among GCC states, and reiterated his country’s support to GCC, Arab and Islamic countries for the sake of promoting security, stability and peace across the region.
GCC Health Minister praised the keen interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and other GCC leaders in improving various health services and unifying GCC procedures in this regard.
Bahrain’s Health Minister Sadeq bin Abdulkareem Al-Shehabi expressed pride in meeting the Saudi Monarch, and extended sincere thanks and appreciation to him for the historic meeting.
Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Premier HRH Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Deputy Foreign Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdulla bin Abdulaziz were present.
