Health Minister Faeqa Al Saleh has met a delegation from Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and industry (BCCI) headed by the Chamber's CEO, Dr. Khalid Al-Ruwaihi.
The two sides reviewed the recommendations of the first workshop held with the participation of a number of business owners in March, regarding the obstacles and difficulties facing the private sector, including with regard to health.
The minister expressed her hope that this meeting will boost the cooperation between the ministry and the chamber as well as efforts to facilitate procedures for Bahrain investors in the health sector. Al Saleh welcomed the chamber's invitation to hold open meetings between the chamber and its members on the one side, and the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) on the other side, to discuss several issues, including the dossier of health insurance.
Al Ruwaihi expressed his appreciation of the minister's cooperation and positive discussion aimed to boost the partnership, cooperation, integration between the two sides to serve the nation's interest. He commended the outcome of this first bilateral meeting between the Ministry of Health and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry which will be followed by a series of meetings.
