Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), in cooperation with the Kuwait Central Blood Bank (KCBB), launched here Tuesday a blood donation campaign for the agency's employees.
Speaking to KUNA, KCBB's coordinator Dr. Rana Al-Abdulrazzak told KUNA that the bank was committed throughout the year to gather blood donation from willing volunteers.
The campaign at KUNA is part of the KCBB's plan to increase donations from two to 20 percent, said Dr. Al-Abdulrazzak, noting that those able to donate blood should do so to help the cause.
Meanwhile, Public Relations Coordinator at KUNA Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi stressed that the agency was eager to provide assistance to the blood bank, noting that a high percentage of employees have donated blood during the campaign.
