Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia Nasif Hefnawi refuted reports circulated on social media websites about privatizing some public hospitals in the governorate that is located north of Cairo.
In press statements on Saturday, Hefnawi said that 17 medical units specialized in family medicine in some villages of the governorate will be turned into specialized medical centers in order to provide an excellent health service for the villages residents.
Such move takes place for the first time in the governorate, he noted.
