Emirates Red Crescent (ERC)
Aden - WAM

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has provided a large amount of anti-cancer medicines to hospitals in Lahij, Abyan, Dhale and Taez governorates in Yemen.

The ERC has also provided the second batch of medical equipment for Al Jomhouria hospital and health centres in Aden as part of its efforts to promote health care in Yemen, which is considered one of the most affected sectors in the current crisis. Giving it special attention, the ERC has prepared an ambitious plan for reviving the functioning of the hospitals as well as to enhance their ability to overcome the current challenges.

The Aden governor has praised the role being played by the ERC to improve medical services in the Yemeni governorates as well as other forms of assistance.
