The Saudi Health Ministry said two persons were diagnosed of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-Cov), known as corona virus.
In a statement Wednesday evening, the ministry said the number of people who died of the virus in Saudi Arabia rose to 587 deaths since it appeared in the kingdom in 2012.
The number of infections also rose to 1,367 people after the two new cases were reported.
The ministry said that 776 cases have been discharged from hospitals, while nine persons are still receiving treatment.
