Ingredients 8 slices bread, crust removed 200g : ripe mango, cubed 100g : condensed milk 250ml : milk pinch saffron 1 tsp : almond paste 2 drops rose water Preparation 1. Soak bread in water for 10 minutes. Remove and gently squeeze out excess water. 2. Divide mango into 8 portions. Place a slice of bread in your palm and place a portion of mango in the centre of bread. Gently close your fist, making a ball. Repeat with remaining bread and mango pieces. Place balls in a deep serving dish. 3. In a pan, bring condensed milk and milk to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour hot milk mixture over bread balls. Refrigerate and serve cold.
