Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro Moros would embark an official visit to Algeria on Monday at an invitation of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, according to a statement by the Algerian Presidency.
"This visit will further consolidate the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries," the statement added.
"The talks between Presidents Bouteflika and Maduro will also allow them to exchange views on international issues of mutual interest," the statement said.
"These talks will also be an opportunity for consultation between Algeria and Venezuela, two active members of OPEC, about the current oil price crisis and ways to achieve their recovery as part of a broader effort to non-OPEC producers," the statement read.
