UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
New York - Arab Today

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said today that he is yet to make a decision on whether to run in South Korea's presidential elections.

Ki-moon held a press conference to bid farewell to UN employees and said that he will make a decision when he returns to his home country and listens to the opinion of the people. He stressed however that he was thinking on ways he can contribute to the future of South Korea. He pledged to devote his life to the advancement of his country.

Ban has been very critical of political developments in his home country, leading analysts to believe that he will run in the upcoming elections.
