Minister Saad El-Gioushy
Cairo - Arab Today

Transport Minister Saad el Gyoushi decided to cancel the uneconomic train lines for low turnout and transfer them to the lines that have high turnout.

In statements Saturday, Gyoushi said that some trains were operated and no passengers get on them.

It is illogical to operate a train line to transfer ten passengers from a place to another, he said, adding that this causes loss to the authority.

The citizens will be informed that these lines were stopped so that they find alternative transportation, he added.
