Sudanese President Omar Al Bahir returned here today after a one-day visit to Juba during which he held talks with South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit followed by ministerial meetings chaired by the presidents of the two countries.Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Karti said during the visit, which he described as ‘historic and very successful’, the two sides agreed to set up a higher ministerial committee under the vice presidents of the two countries to complete the implementation of the joint cooperation agreement and to address pending issues especially matters related to Abyei area and borders arrangements.He pointed out that a new spirit appeared during the Al-Bashir-Salva meeting confirming progress towards the development of relations, coordination, cooperation and joint action to achieve the interests of the two countries’ peoples and the region
