HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived here today on a two-day visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa led well-wishers to welcome HH the Emir and his accompanying delegation upon arrival at Bahrain International Airport. Bahrain's Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa was also on hand to welcome HH the Emir and his accompanying delegation. A number of Sheikhs and ministers also welcomed HH the Emir. HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani gave a statement upon arrival in which he expressed pleasure for visiting his second homeland, the Kingdom of Bahrain to meet King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to whom and the people of Bahrain HH the Emir and the Qatari people maintain the sincerest feelings of amity and appreciation, wishing them success and their country loftiness and progress. " It goes without saying that this visit comes from our keenness to communicate to exchange views on the various issues of common interest and ways of enhancing the strong fraternal ties between our two countries for the welfare and benefit of our two brotherly peoples," HH the Emir said. Concluding, HH the Emir prayed the Almighty Allah to help them '' serve our two countries and our two Arab and Islamic nations".
