Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Egypt on February 9-10 to discuss a number of bilateral issues, Tass news agency reported Wednesday.
Putin's talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El Sisi will focus on the development of bilateral relations, mainly in the political, humanitarian, trade and economic fields, the press service said.
Putin's talks in Egypt will focus on "the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, first of all, in Iraq, Syria, Libya and also on the Palestinian-Israeli settlement," the press service said.
Sisi, who took office in May, visited Russia in August 2014.
Putin's latest visit to Egypt took place in April 2005.
