Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday arrived Peshawar and drove to Chief Minister House from the airport without any protocol, spokesman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, MPA Shaukat Yousafzai said.
In a message issued here, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan had issued instructions to the governor, chief minister and chief secretary not to come to the airport to receive him.
The prime minister directly arrived at the chief minister house after reaching the Peshawar Airport, Shaukat added.
During the meeting with provincial cabinet at Peshawar, the prime minister told the participants that he did not want any protocol and other formalities, but practical work from holders of public office.
After the meeting, he met all the participants at chief minister house, Shaukat added.
He said in the meeting only tea was served to the participants comprising cabinet members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and high ranking officials.
