Mufti of Lebanon Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian left Cairo on Wednesday after taking part in the founding meeting of the fatwa houses all over the world.
The meeting, that was held under the sponsorship of Darul Iftaa, aims at enhancing coordination among the different fatwa houses after the spread of many extremist ideas and fake fatwas.
The meeting discussed current challenges facing the Muslim world in a bid to reach solutions stemming from Islamic heritage.
