H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, has called for support for the 'Fujairah Centre for Adventures', to strengthen its infrastructure and enlarge the scope of its activities to ensure it fulfils its social responsibilities and engages in volunteer work to serve the country, the Emirati community and its members.
The Fujairah Crown Prince directed the centre’s administration to attract companies, authorities, schools and individuals with an adventurous spirit to participate in its activities and initiatives. He stressed the importance of engaging youth in areas of humanitarian work and enabling them to implement their volunteer initiatives.
He further urged the centre to promote the culture of volunteering and encourage the new generations to invest their energies in volunteer work and contribute to supporting government and community authorities in major events and activities witnessed by the emirate, whether in the usual activities or during crises.
The Fujairah Crown Prince directed the adoption of a comprehensive training programme to train the centre’s recruits on safety methods to prepare them to confront challenges and provide them with skills to accomplish various tasks with the required quality.
He also called upon the relevant government authorities and institutions to provide the Fujairah Centre for Adventures with the means to help it achieve its goals and fulfil its social responsibilities and volunteer initiatives.
