With the approval and blessings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the new ministers of the UAE government took the oath today before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, at Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum addressed his good wishes to the ministers in fulfilling ‎their responsibilities, and called for increased efforts to achieve the vision and aspirations of the UAE. ‎ The Prime Minister also highlighted that the new government reflects the ‎leadership’s vision for the UAE to achieve further development and prosperity in various fields to pave the ‎way to the UAE Centennial 2071.

"We seek to achieve major steps forward in all vital sectors of the UAE ‎in line with our vision for the UAE Centennial 2071," said Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid speaking about the future vision. "We are leading a new phase for the UAE, enriched with science and technology, and we seek to build the future ‎for many more generations to come," he added. ‎ ‎"We have announced UAE Centennial Strategy during the Annual Meetings ‎of UAE Government and today we started implementing it," said His Highness. "We have national priorities to address and we must meet our people’s expectations to reach the ‎desired objectives. We will spare no effort to provide a prosperous life to the people of the UAE," he continued. ‎ ‎"We seek to make our government services and infrastructure a global model in employing technology, ‎relying on innovation, research and advanced technologies," His Highness concluded. ‎ During the oath taking ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said, "The vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and ‎His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, can only be achieved through consolidated ‎efforts and team work, and this is the only way forward to reach our Centennial vision."‎ ‎"Sheikh Mohammed has been setting an example in leading the government effectively and efficiently, ‎while maintaining necessary flexibility to deal with the changing circumstances around us," His ‎Highness added. ‎ Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed wished the new ministers success in their new endeavour and added that‎‎ "with this Government, we have laid the foundations for our vision towards achieving UAE ‎Centennial 2071." ‎He also thanked the ministers who served the government and the people of the UAE over the past years with much dedication and commitment.

The ministers expressed their pride in the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed ‎Al Nahyan, and The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and said they ‎were honoured to be a part of the government team. They expressed their commitment to increased ‎efforts to serve the nation and its citizens, and achieve the aspirations of the government and ‎leadership. ‎
