H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, today received an economic delegation from the Republic of Iraq headed by Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, Iraqi Minister of Labour and Social Affairs and Acting Minister of Industry and Minerals.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing the keenness of the two countries' leaders to promote the outstanding relations between the UAE and Iraq for the benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, achieving more growth and development in various fields.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in various economic, investment and trade fields. They also reviewed a number of programmes and projects that serve the comprehensive development of the two countries, in addition to discussing issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, and Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs.
