At the end of the race, HM King Hamad and HM Queen Elizabeth presented the Endurance Cup to Royal Team Captain His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa who won the race.

The two monarchs also presented second and third-placed Bahrainis Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa and Raed Mahmoud with trophies.

He said that Bahrain’s participation in the competition stemmed from the solid cooperation and deep-rooted historic relations, which are based on a long-standing legacy of understanding, friendship and mutual interest.

HM the King hailed steadily-growing relations and stressed the importance of the participation which he described as being an opportunity for Bahraini riders to gain more edge and expertise and reach out to contenders from other countries.

HM the King commended the organisers for the outstanding preparations and the facilities they provided to ensure the achievement of desired results, wishing them all continuous success.
