US Secretary of State John Kerry will embark on a two-day visit to Algeria in January leading a high-ranking delegation for talks on a set of important issues, the Algerian "Al-Nahar" newspaper reported. The US Department of State has notified the Algerian authorities about the visit. Kerry will meet with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra and Prime Minister Abdel Malek Selal. Kerry is also scheduled to meet with Algerian President Abdel Aziz Bouteflika on the last day of his visit itinerary. Kerry's talks with the Algerian officials will cover issues related to investments, bilateral relations as well as political and economic issues.
