Both ministers stressed that Jerusalem is a central issue for the Arab and Muslim worlds, voicing rejection of all unilateral Israeli steps aimed at changing the historical and legal situation in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The meeting tackled efforts to stop the crimes committed against the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, stressing the need for continued cooperation within the framework of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the international community to provide them with the necessary protection.

The two ministers also discussed the war on terrorism, which they said, is a global threat that does not belong to a religion or a civilisation.
