Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi arrived in France on Wednesday, leading a high-level delegation for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron on efforts exerted to fight terrorism and boost economic cooperation between the two countries.
Abadi is scheduled to have a meeting with Macron at the Elysee Palace on Thursday morning to discuss the latest developments in Iraq and the role that could be played by France in Iraq's reconstruction.
The premier's delegation groups the ministers of defense, petroleum, agriculture, higher education, migration, industry and other senior officials.
