Manama - Bna

Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), will patronize tomorrow, at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIECC), the prize-distribution ceremony of the first Arab and fifth local editions of HRH Princess Sabeeka's Award for Best Productive Families. The new edition of the Award is expected to shed light on the kingdom's pioneering experience in this regard thanks to the incessant support of the wise leadership to productive families in order to upgrade their competitivity and promote them locally and across the Arab world, which will make Manama a capital of Arab productive families. The Award aims to honour low-income productive families, encourage them to become economically productive and help upgrade the quality of their products. On this occasion, Human Rights and Social Development Ministry and Acting Health minister Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Blushi lauded HRH Princess Sabeeka's patronage of the event, asserting that the move will motivate low-income families to be productive and innovative, which will boost national economy. She also asserted that HRH Princess Sabeeka's enlightened vision to turn state-supported families into productive ones that earn extra revenue and boost the kingdom's economy is a living proof of the advanced level of the implementation process of the ambitious Economic Vision for Bahrain, 2030, in line with the future road map outlined by the wise leadership for the interests of the kingdom. Dr. Al Blushi also noted that HRH Princess Sabeeka's constant support for productive Bahraini families was praised by Arab Social Affairs during a meeting they held more than year ago and approved her initiative to launch such a "unique" award. "Thanks to the wisdom and far-sightedness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the kingdom has become the launch pad of innumerable distinguished initiatives, citing the approval of the Arab Day for Productive families, marked on every March 15, the endorsement of HRH Princess Sabeeka's Award for Best Productive Families, the government's decision to set up the "productive House" and the continuity of the "Made in My Home" exhibition. Dr. Al Blushi also hailed the government's incessant support for productive families, which, she asserted has turned HRH Princess Sabeeka's Award for Best Productive Families and the "Made in my Home" exhibition a festival celebrated by those innovative families whose products and innovations are promoted inside and outside the kingdom. The award will be given for the Best Productive Family, the Best Arab Family Product and the Best Sponsor of Productive Families.
