His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister arrived today on a fraternal visit to Kuwait.

During the visit HRH the Prime Minister meets with the Amir of Kuwait HH Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince HH Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and Prime Minister HH Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, to discuss various topics aimed to boost Bahraini-Kuwaiti ties and to bolster the bilateral cooperation.

His Royal Highness the Prime Minister was greeted upon arrival at the Airport by Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Deputies of the Prime Minister, senior officials, Bahrain’s ambassador to Kuwait and embassy staff.

His Royal Highness delivered the following statement upon his arrival:

(It is cause for our delight to carry out this fraternal visit to our second home, the State of Kuwait, to meet with our brother His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah the Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait in view of our close historic kinship relations and shared destiny, and it is good omens as it coincides with the new year wishing it to carry more welfare, prosperity and flourishing to the region after a burdensome year of incidents.

This visit comes emanating from our keenness on continuity of meetings with our brother His Highness the Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait and his honorable government to give the bilateral ties between our two countries more impetus which sincerely expresses our distinguished exemplary state relations and to continue the coordination and consultation vis-à-vis the crucial situations in the region and the fast successive developments in addition to topics of shared interest. We are delighted to avail of this previous opportunity to express to our brother the Amir of the State of Kuwait our utmost pride in His Highness’s care to boosting the bilateral ties between our two sisterly countries interest in boosting the, and His Highness’s continuous support to the Gulf Cooperation Council through wisdom, emanating from his basic keenness on maintaining this blessed march, and we also commend His Highness’s noble initiatives of services to humanity for which is the leader in the region and the world.

We are delighted to avail of this precious opportunity to carry with us from the Kingdom of Bahrain’s King and government, greetings filled with amity and acknowledgement to the Amir, government and people whose supportive stances with the Kingdom of Bahrain will always live in the national memory.

This fraternal visit will also constituter a good opportunity to meet with our brother His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah the Crown Prince of the sisterly State of Kuwait and our brother His Highness Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah the Prime Minister for ensuring the bilateral cooperation between our two countries and pushing it forward to achieve the hopes and ambitions of our two brotherly peoples. I am also delighted on this occasion to praise the development and growth witnessed by Kuwait under the leadership of His Highness the Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait, wishing the sisterly state more welfare and prosperity and God’s perpetuating the grace of security and stability under its wise leadership.)
