French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian due to travel to UAE tomorrow for a two-day visit, the Defense Ministry said in a statement Tuesday. The statement noted that the visit aimed to bolster strategic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the military and defense fields. The minister will meet with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the statement said. The statement added that the two sides will discuss developments in the region and international arena, including ongoing developments in Syria and Iran. The meeting between the two officials is the second since Le Drian took office in 2010, the statement said
