Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy will pay a two-day visit to India on Wednesday. During the visit, the Egyptian Minister is scheduled to meet with Indian Vice President Hamid Ansari and Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid and National Security Advisor Shri Shiv Shankar Menon. The visit aims to further strengthen and deepen the relations between Egypt and India. He will also hold talks with his Indian Counterpart to discuss all the developments of the bilateral relations and will exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern, especially the Syrian crisis, the peace process, the issues of nuclear disarmament, the Egyptian initiative to evacuate the Middle East of all weapons of mass destruction, the reform of the Security Council and the issues of sustainable development, environment and the World Trade Organization.
