Health and Population Minister Ahmed Emad said on Thursday the ministry seeks to get 12 million dollars from international sides to finance the establishment of a new factory for the production of bird flu vaccines.
The minister, speaking to MENA during his participation in the country's first National Youth Conference here, said the International Cooperation Ministry is helping the Health Ministry get the international aid.
A 75-million-dollar loan offered by the World Bank over the past period helped developing 1,040 healthcare units in seven Upper Egypt governorates, he added.
