Dubai Municipality's Director-General, French Ambassador discuss cooperation

Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, has met with and Ludovic Pouille, French Ambassador to the UAE, where they discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of municipal work within the framework of visits by members of the diplomatic and consular services of the municipality.

During the meeting, Lootah expressed his appreciation of the relations between Dubai and cities in France, especially that the municipality recently signed a twinning agreement with the French city of Lyon.

The French Ambassador, accompanied by French Consul-General, Majdi Abed, praised the remarkable development witnessed by Dubai and its distinguished relations with various cities in the world, considered as evidence of the sincere pursuit of strengthening cooperation, interdependence and solidarity with the world.

Ambassador Pouille expressed his enthusiasm on the positive relations between Dubai and his country, through the twinning agreement, hoping that it achieved its desired purpose.

They also stressed the importance of exchanging visits and views between the municipality and the consulate, in addition to achieving all that would strengthen relations between them to increase brotherhood and future cooperation.
