Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza has won the Asian Human Resources Development Award 2013. The Asian HRD Congress conferred the award on Dr. Mira in recognition of his effective role in promoting human resources in Asia. Bahrain Society for Training and Human Resources Development will host a party on Wednesday (September 11) of the 2013 laureate. Top-rated keynote speaker, author, trainer, consultant and entrepreneur Dato R. Palan, will deliver a lecture on best practices in optimizing competencies. Bahrain Society for Training and Human Resources Development honorary president Dr. Ibrahim Khalifa Al-Dosary will present Dr. Mirza with AHRD Award 2013 on behalf of the Asian Union. Bahrain Society for Training and Human Resources Development chairman Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Sheikh paid tribute to Dr. Mirza on the Asian honour, describing the award as a source of pride for officials in charge of human resources development in Bahrain. He commended the keenness of the wise leadership on human resources development urging private companies and banks to take part in honouring Dr. Mirza. He expects over 400 people to attend Dato R. Palan's lecture.
