Djibouti President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh left Cairo on Tuesday winding up a two-day visit during which he had talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on joint cooperation as well as regional and international developments.

President Sisi appreciated Djibouti's role which supported Egypt at the African Union's peace and security council following the June 30 Revolution.

Guelleh hailed as deep relations between Djibouti and Cairo and laid down the foundation stone of the new HQ of his country's embassy in Cairo.

He said his talks with Sisi took up economic cooperation between the two countries.

Seven agreements and memorandums of understanding were also signed between the two sides.
