A delegation of Italian investigators arrived in Cairo on Saturday to follow up a probe into the death of Italian student Giulio Regeni in Egypt.
The delegation comprises eight investigators under the security chief of the Italian embassy in Cairo.
During their three-day visit, the delegation will follow up the case developments and receive more documents and investigation materials that are requested by Rome.
The delegation members are expected to meet with their Egyptian investigators.
The visit came at an invitation by the Egyptian Prosecutor General.
