Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has designated the Speaker of the Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament) Abdelkader Bensalah to represent him at the 28th ordinary Summit of the Arab League on Wednesday in Amman, the Presidency announced Monday.
"In response to the invitation he received from his Majesty King Abdullah II, his Excellency President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has designated the Speaker of the Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament) Abdelkader Bensalah to represent him at the 28th ordinary Summit of the Arab League, which will take place on 28 and 29 March 2017 in Amman," the Presidency said.
Bensalah will be accompanied by Minister of Maghreb Affairs, the African Union and the Arab League Abdelkader Messahel.
