Arab League Secretary General Nabil El-Arabi left here on Tuesday for UAE on several days' visit during which he will take part in Sir Bani Yas Forum on Peace and Security in the Middle East. The annual high-level retreat is held upon an initiative from UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. A number of foreign ministers and prominent figures from all over the world are participating in the forum which discusses pivotal challenges facing peace and security issues in the Middle East region. Arabi will also take part in a regional forum on protecting youths from AIDS in the Arab region. Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander?in?Chief of the Dubai Police, will address the event.
