Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi left here on Tuesday for Beijing, the second leg of his Asian tour that also involves Indonesia.

While here on a three-day official visit, he had talks with the Singaporean president and prime minister as well as leading businessmen and investors, to discuss prospects of investment cooperation with Egypt.

He also visited the Singapore seaport, a water desalination plant and a power-generation plant.

Sisi was accompanied by the ministers of foreign affairs, investment and water resources and irrigation and the Suez Canal Authority chief.
