Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has formed a Palestinian delegation that will head for Egypt on Saturday to discuss ways to continue the ceasefire, WAFA news agency reported.
The delegation will be led by Fatah leader Azzam al-Ahmad.
Majed Faraj, the Palestinian intelligence chief, is one of 12 delegates that will travel to Egypt tomorrow.
The Palestinian leadership held Friday a meeting to discuss the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.
In the meantime, Abbas phoned Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri to discuss ways to stop the Israeli offensive in Gaza.
