The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud approved the request of the Yemeni President Abdu Rabbo Mansur Hadi to received nine Yemeni detainees from US Guantanamo prison.
Those nationals' relatives, who are residents in the Kingdom, have already submitted requests to the Saudi authorities to receive them, due to the circumstances of fraternal Yemen, the Security Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior announced Saturday.
The nine detainees have already arrived in the Kingdom, Saturday evening, the Spokesman added, pointing out that their relatives have been contacted and arrangements to facilitate meeting them have been made, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
However, they will be put under applicable regulations applied, in the Kingdom, including programs for advising and care, he concluded.
