Organisation warns against negative repercussions
Rabat - Judy Sabbagh

Organisation warns against negative repercussions UNICEF, the world's leading organisation working for children, has warned against the negative repercussions of child marriages in Morocco. With many youngsters dropping out of school at an early age , this new phenomenon could lead to a whirlwind of issues including oppression and even child labour.
The organisation’s office in Morocco issued a statement in memory of the country’s ratification of the UN Agreement of children’s rights, revealing that Morocco managed to achieve notable progress to support the rights of children through generalising primary education and vaccination. It also praised the Moroccan regime for issuing a number of laws compatible with the international commitment of the North African state.
